The St John family received the news of the passing of our Sovereign Head Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the greatest of sorrow.

Her Majesty has exercised her role as Sovereign Head of the Order with great distinction and has been the focus of the respect and affection of the Order around the world. We all are immeasurably grateful to her.

Household Disaster Preparedness in the Caribbean: Increasing Awareness and Resilience in St Lucia

Natural disasters occur almost annually in the whole Caribbean. The hurricane season brings storms and torrential rainfall between June and November, but disasters also happen outside these six months. Although most events don’t turn into a major emergency, people suffer from the aftermaths. St John Saint Lucia will for the next 17 months host FREE One-day Disaster Preparedness Training in an effort to building better and more resilient communities whereby reducing the demands placed upon emergency services.
